Job Ref. :uker485 Site Engineer / Sub Agent Civil Contractor Telford   Job Location: Birmingham, Telford, Lichfield and Shropshire   Terms: Permanent only   Salary: £26 - £29k + car + package Job Details Site Engineer / Sub Agent Civils Award Winning Contractor Birmingham, Telford, Lichfield and Shropshire ROLE: An Midlands based regional contractor currently seeking to recruit an Engineer/Sub Agent at any level to work on various Civil Engineering contracts throughout the Midlands region in particular Birmingham, Telford, Lichfield and Tamworth. These projects will all be valued between £0.5million to £5million and are a variety of schemes which encompass highways, structures and infrastructure, and work on Severn Trent Waters AMP4 list. The successful Engineer/Sub Agent would be required to do setting out, supervision of site based activity, health and safety reports, sit in on program meetings and follow up, plant control and sub contractor communication. This engineers role is based on civil engineering sites working for an established medium sized contractor. COMPANY PROFILE: The Company seeking to recruit a Engineer/Sub Agent currently has a £25million turnover which is steadily growing to reach a turnover of £30million within a three year period, and is highly respected within the industry as one of the top firms within this sector. Candidate requirements BACKGROUND: Engineers/Sub Agents looking to apply should have a background in civil engineering and should be experienced on a variety of sites and projects or be looking to expand their knowledge of the industry. This position is open to both Engineers/Sub Agents and applicants already at Sub Agent level who are wishing to increase their knowledge and get up the company level. QUALIFICATIONS: BEng Civil Engineering, ONC / HNC/ HND Construction, or Civil Engineering are desirable but not essential. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
