| Listed below are the details for the three vacancies we have available - Project Managers / Estimator / Workshop & Service Engineer
PROJECT MANAGERS - SOUND AND/OR LIGHTING LSI are seeking two (2) professionally qualified Sound and/or Lighting Engineers or experienced Technicians who are interested in using their existing skills to develop a career in Project Management with LSI Projects, The international Projects specialists in Sound, Lighting and Stage/Studio Suspension systems. As part of the existing project management team you will be involved with system & installation designs, preparation of tenders/Bids, on-site meetings, and daily contact with Consultants, Main Contractors and Clients. Consequently, as well as having either relevant sound/ electrical/electronic engineering qualifications or at least in-depth experience, you will also be self motivating, have good communication skills, and an ability to work as part of a team.
ESTIMATOR Operating as part of the projects support team the key responsibilities of Estimator includes taking tender bids from point of receipt through to on time completion, accurate interpretation of consultants and clients specifications or requirements, the preparation and timely delivery of persuasively-written responsive bids, including all post-bid submissions and any subsequent requests for bid clarification. In addition you will be responsible for both the costing system and customer price lists, providing management reports, and attending Project/Sales meetings.
This is a key position within the company therefore we invite applications from Candidates: Who have at least 3 years experience in producing Proposals / Tenders though not necessarily within the entertainment industry OR With industry experience who now wish to further their career in a commercial environment Who are proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, with AutoCAD skills being an added advantage With a commercial understanding and awareness of costs/margins. Who accept accuracy and attention to detail as a prerequisite of their role With good communication skills.
WORKSHOP & SERVICE ENGINEER This new position in LSI will ideally suit an experienced Hands On Service Engineer/Wireman whose role will be to supervise and assist in the building of Professional Sound, AV and Lighting systems, whilst also providing technical support to both our customers and existing projects team.
Whilst knowledge of the sound/lighting industry is desirable, it is not considered essential.
