Job Ref. :uker15892 Instrumentation Technician (chemical Industry)   Job Location: Runcorn, Warrington, Wirral   Terms: Permanent only   Salary: £25,500 Job Details My client is a global leader in newsprint and commercial printing papers as well as a major producer of wood products, serving clients in some 70 countries from its 45 operating facilities. They among the largest recyclers of newspapers and magazines, diverting annually approximately 1.9 million tones of waste paper from landfills. Due to restructure and the implementation of new machineryinstrumentation, they now have an opportunity for an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join the expanding team. THE ROLE Working the day shift, Monday to Friday, for 6 months then leading to continental shifts (4 on 4 off), Monday to Friday, you will report to the Plant Engineer and work alongside a team of Fitters. You will take responsibility for all aspects of reactive and planned preventative maintenance across all batch and continuous production equipment. You will also become involved in continuous improvement and quality projects as well as other project requirements when they arise. In order to be successful in your application you will be time-served and ideally educated to HNC / ONC level or equivalent in an Instrumentation discipline. It is preferred, but NOT essential, that you have current knowledge and experience within the Chemical industry although other industry experience will also be considered. We will not provide UK work permits. Please ensure you are a UK/EU resident or have a relevant permit.
