Company Overview This employer is a world leader in the design and manufacture of bespoke and turnkey systems for the process and mineral industry. Projects include: Conveyor systems, pressure vessels, liquid tanks, and asscociated valves/pipework Mechanical Design Engineer Duties: As part of the Mechanical Design Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and detailing (current and future) equipment/products. Your duties-as a Mechanical Design Engineer-will include: conceptual design, detail design and drawing, technical documentation, calculations, and BOM through to manufacture. Required Skills and Experience for the Mechanical Design Engineer. -Minimum of 4-5 years Mechanical design engineering experience -Experience within steel fabrications environment (Ideal) Experience in designing process systems would be a distinct advantage. -Good AutoCAD experience. 3D modelling experience would be an dvantage as full training will be provided on Solid Edge. -Design experience utilising any (or all!) of the following would be an advantage: bearings, valves, motor gearboxes, pneumatics or hydraulics -Minimum engineering qualifications of ONC/HNC We will not provide UK work permits. Please ensure you are a UK/EU resident or have a relevant permit.
