Job Ref. :uker15799 Lead Piping Engineers   Job Location: London, West London, Home Counties   Terms: Permanent only   Salary: Neg Job Details My client who is a major player in the Oil and Gas industry is seeking a number of self-motivated and result driven Lead and Principle Piping Engineers to join their Piping Design Department. Brief Job Desciption/Requirements The Lead Piping Engineer will be a member of the engineering team, responsible for general engineering and provision of support in order to ensure that the construction program is executed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, schedule, safety procedures and quality requirements. Detailed Requirements The Lead Piping Engineer shall:- Lead by example in all areas of HSE to achieve zero LTA,s. Provide assistance, engineering support, direction and leadership to the contractor and to others members of the construction management organisation. Be a key player in the execution of piping / mechanical engineering activities on site, developing engineering solutions to problems arising during construction and interfacing with all disciplines. Take a leading position in the roll out and execution of engineering change and modification works. Assist other site team groups to meet common project objectives. Ensure that proper documentation and as-built drawings are maintained in accordance with technical integrity and operational requirements. Be responsible for the resolution of piping / mechanical related Technical Queries. Strive to minimize cost and schedule impact of any engineering change. Assist in the resolution of day-to-day problems including work interface issues, interferences, material delays and constructability, etc. We will not provide UK work permits.
