Field Engineer Civil / Buildings - Milford Haven, Wales

Job Ref. :uker15665 Field Engineer Civil / Buildings   Job Location: Milford Haven, Wales   Terms: Permanent only   Salary: Negotiable Job Details Objectives/Responsibilities: * Act as the focal point for engineering issues, relating to civil/building and structural engineering, raised at site (from construction and commissioning) for the project and manage their resolution. * Provide technical assistance to the construction and commissioning teams. * Provide, a site engineering queries solving and management function. * Assist the site quality team in ensuring all work is executed to the standards required by the project specifications and documentation. * Manage the correlation and production of As-built documentation for the project. To meet the above objectives/responsibilities it is anticipated that the following services will be provided/managed for the project at site by the Field Engineer - Civil/Buildings: * Engineering Liaison Provide and manage the site liaison for all civil/building design matters between construction, commissioning and sub-contractors. Liaison with Paddington engineering will be controlled via the site query procedure. * Engineering Change Control Manage civil/building engineering design change at site. Provide engineering input to site instructions and variation orders as required. * Site Query Management Receive, log and respond to civil/building engineering technical queries raised by the site team and sub-contractors, referring back to Paddington engineering office as necessary. * Concession Request Management Receive, log and manage civil/building design/engineering concession requests raised by sub-contractors and vendors on site. Following on from this wil We will not provide UK work permits. Please ensure you are a UK/EU resident or have a relevant permit.
