Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager (Director Designate) Package: £30,000 to £40,000 (Dependent on Experience) plus Car and Bonus Area / location: Darlington (UK Wide Remit) Product: Hydraulic Seals and Cylinder Components Sector: B2B Industry: Construction, Engineering, Automotive, Hydraulics Brief job description: Our client established in 1984 has grown to become the UK´s leading stockist of Hydraulic Seals and Cylinder Components by providing exceptional customer service to designers, manufacturers and repairers of hydraulic systems. As the Sales and Marketing Manager reporting to the MD you will be responsible for achieving our clients sales budgets by driving, motivating and enthusing the sales team and be responsible for developing tactical sales and marketing initiatives in order to improve sales. Skills: You will have at least 5 years field sales experience within the hydraulic seals industry or a relevant B2B after sales distribution industry and will have had previous experience of managing a sales team, developing budgets and reporting. As well as possessing excellent motivational and leadership abilities you must be able to demonstrate the ability to successfully take a new product to the market. As this is a senior management position with potential career progression to Sales and Marketing Director you must be able to develop a strong working relationship with the existing directors.
