As part of an experienced development team focused on developing media processors for the handheld market, you will be responsible for porting the Linux Kernel and associated GCC tool chain to an ARM core within a proprietary embedded media processor. It is essential that you have at least 2 yrs software programming experience with good current ´C´ and ´C++´ programming skills and strong Linux kernel and GCC tool chain porting experience. Any experience developing on embedded systems (writing device drivers, programming at the hardware level) is highly desirable. This position is a permanent role although contractors who meet the technical requirements will be considered at market rate.
