You can expect to be in European countries such as Spain, Italy, and Germany for upto 15 days in any given month. Please only apply for the following role, if you are in a position to do this. Now, for those still reading, I have a great Service Engineering opportunity that is a little different from the norm. A key client of mine that is a leading supplier of Heavy Process equipment and solutions to a wide range of industries has recently contacted me with a new requirement. With over 40 years of experience, this company continues to set the standard in Process equipment design, and pioneers other products and processes to give their customers a distinct competitive advantage. This role will report directly into the Service Manager, and will involve being responsible for the effective management and development of the European territory for aftermarket Component Sales for this equipment. You will be working within a team environment to assist in other areas of customer service to help their customers achieve the maximum operating benefits of existing machines in the field. Having established an after sales contact with the client, your manager will then hand a project over to you. You will then be expected to meet with the client, Assist in trouble-shooting, repairs and upgrades of existing equipment, and advise on any technical issues or queries, and then to effectively sell a solution. You will take a proactive approach in partnering with Sales staff and other departments to provide customers with competitive and accurate proposals, enabling you to maximise the saturation of Component Sales for Europe. To fulfil this role, the ideal candidate will possess a vast amount of field service knowledge, experience and expertise, ideally within a capital industrial equipment environment. Qualified to Bachelor´s degree level in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, ideally you will have the ability to speak a European language such as Italian, Spanish or German. As mentioned before, this position will require you to travel anywhere in Europe, so an extremely flexible individual is required. A key attribute, will be your ability to communicate, and listen to the client to fully understand their needs, and requirements. This will enable you to respond to customer requests effectively and professionally.
